DblOSmith ::: Favorites He'd get my vote in a second. I'd love to see a Gore/Obama ticket. 07-05-30 17:39:29 _____________________________________________________
charlesf ::: Favorites The Democrats have this time the strongest field of candidates since I started following US politics. So I don't miss Gore too much. Though he'd certainly have a lock on the nomination. That said, he's doing great work and being a very effective climate ambassador without being in presidential politics. Perhaps he's found his place in public life. Not all good leaders need to run for office. 07-05-30 22:46:39 _____________________________________________________
runteddy ::: Favorites Al Gore seems to me to be an alarmist on this issue. I'd say that the democrats, at this point in the election, have the strongest candidates in the field. But, whether that will last remains to be seen. With Fred Thomas running for president, conservatives will finally have someone to rally around. So, with him running, it should be a fight, emphasis on SHOULD! 07-06-01 23:41:20 _____________________________________________________
oldhacks ::: Favorites Gore is advocating a carbon tax for better or for worse. once that happens the poor will no longer be mobile. the rich will still be able to drive and commute all they want but the poor will never again be able to roam this country freely until a massive transision to alternative fuels. 07-06-05 15:00:26 _____________________________________________________
oldhacks ::: Favorites hillary clinton is about as close an allie to Gore as youll ever find. 07-06-05 15:03:52 _____________________________________________________ |
