He was a puppet emperor but was treated like god, this scene emphasizes the contrast between what he was and what he became. It breaks my heart too. I visited the Forbidden City, there's this magical feeling because it was prohibited for so long, but once you enter and see the mass of tourists it loses momentum. I wanted to sit on the emperor chair when the guards are not looking, like in the movie, unfortunately they closed the hall and we were only allowed to take a glimpse through the window.

Uh... a combination of codes removed the HUD, but other than that, I must have been lucky to have done enough damage for the last hit to finish like that.
