I sings originals and Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keyes, Al Greene, Gloria Gaynor, Shakira, Gloria Estefan . Ok, everybody asks what happened. In reality, Simon Paula and Randy are not there during the audition. There are thousands of people auditioning in the middle of the Alamodome and You get in rows of four and You sing about 20 seconds each in front of one of the producers of the show (THey are sitting behind a fold out table ). This is what happened and then they dissed my whole row. The ONLY thing they told me was that "it's not your time this time" No questions. Not my name my age or anything. Nothing. The famous three don't see anybody. Only the few that get through a second audition weeks later. Those people see Simon Paula and Randy about a month later. They also tell you not to change what you wore to the audiiton because they want to make it look like the same day. (But I know someone from San Antonio that changed if you watch the website video's you'll notice too) Fair? In an interview with Simon, he admitted and said that if there were all good singers it would be a boring show.
