DamNationDiplomat ::: Favorites southern, central, and western africa remained mostly untouched as did the native americans, but it's a point well taken; roman blood and culture has defined the evolution of europe, the middle east, and parts of asia; which, in turn, has defined the evolution of modern culture. 07-07-12 18:52:11 __________________________________________________
AndreaBorto ::: Favorites India, China and Islam: all the other cultures are heavily influenced by rome. 07-07-12 15:43:36 __________________________________________________
lochli23 ::: Favorites I'll disagree with you on China. It has stopped expanding for (dare I say), the last thousand years. It had ample opportunities to politically seize the whole Southeast Asian region before Europeans came but it chose not to do so. Right now, it looks content to ride on Pax Americana. They're concentrating on getting rich first. In the next fifty years however...who knows? 07-06-06 09:40:45 __________________________________________________
ThreeofThree ::: Favorites Er...my reply had too many characters. So, I posted it to your channel page. ^_^ Sorry. 07-05-02 00:41:57 __________________________________________________
DamNationDiplomat ::: Favorites I was born and raised in the southern US, but I filled my head with tons of british media and ended up somewhere between a british and a southern accent (IE...not much of an accent at all) 07-05-01 23:09:34 __________________________________________________
ThreeofThree ::: Favorites Awesomeness...I found another interesting (opinionated) person to watch. Hm...I'm having trouble figuring out your accent. It must similiar to mine because I can't tell if you have an accent...so maybe a midland accent. 07-05-01 21:19:08 __________________________________________________
felicity4711 ::: Favorites You're beautiful. 07-04-28 14:34:50 __________________________________________________
rabelai2006 ::: Favorites Every country has trade ties with China and India. EU is the strongest economical power in the world, and that's not a poor indicator of strength. Also I didn't say EU was stronger than USA now, but they most definitely be in the future. There exists a hysteria in EU now because of mass immigration from the East. But East EU countries are growing very rapidly so it will slow down and further enlargment will pushed on. We are also looking at pooling of defense resources in coming decade. 07-04-16 07:41:17 __________________________________________________
DamNationDiplomat ::: Favorites I dunno, vietnam was a larger media spectacle, but iraq is unique in that it has inspired old animocities to come to a boil (i'm speaking, of course, of the sunni, shia, kurd power struggle that's been going on since before the name 'Iraq' was even thought of), 'nam did MASSIVE damage to the US and to vietnam, but the damage hasn't lasted in the same way the iraq conflict probably will... 07-04-16 06:46:06 __________________________________________________
tobyw87 ::: Favorites The EU is weak and unorganized. GDP is a poor indicator of strength as a nation. Also, the US has very important and significant trade ties with both India and China. There is no reason for these countries to be nothing but allies in the upcoming future. 07-04-15 22:39:26 __________________________________________________ |
