Kthonix ::: Favorites 2007-12-21 10:29:41 More recently they've moved further away from that. The better examples of industrial bm are aborym and anaal nathrakh and ...and oceans. __________________________________________________
TheSD ::: Favorites 2007-12-21 03:18:25 nikolajgholm, Throbbing Gristle is in fact industrial. Industrial metal, they are not. Industrial metal and industrial are two different genres. Rammstein, Ministry, Eisbrecher...those are industrial metal bands. Industrial is a post punk movement that basically revolved around the art of noise concept, and it includes Einsturzende Neubauten, Laibach, SPK and several other artists who were the precursors to industrial metal. __________________________________________________
nikolajgholm ::: Favorites 2007-12-20 03:32:20 You SUCK! :D... Throbbing Gristle isnt industrial!!!... they are just electronic!... it isnt metal and then it has nothing to do with real industrial METAL! :D.. __________________________________________________
dradeel ::: Favorites 2007-12-16 17:52:47 Music evolves and music has different waves and ages, so I'd say industrial music still living and breathing. The Kovenant fits perfectly into the industrial metal sound with their two latest albums. And yes, it's more than adding keyboards to metal. rencrow - Industrial Black Metal is more like Aborym. It's Black metal with industrial influences. The Animatronic album, however, is the other way around. It's industrial metal with a touch of black. And quite frankly they play _space metal_. __________________________________________________
rencrow ::: Favorites 2007-12-15 10:59:49 They're industrial black metal. Basically black metal with electronic and industrial influences. __________________________________________________

mrgahtani ::: Favorites 2007-11-30 07:13:46 SCREW THE WEST. SCREW THE DEVIL. tHE JIHAD WILL WHOOP THE SHIT OUT OF UR CRUSADE JUST LIKE WE DID 700 YEARS AGO. the return of the king to tie up the deviL. BE AFRAID SATAN!! __________________________________________________
TheSD ::: Favorites 2007-11-22 04:25:08 This isn't industrial. Industrial died with Throbbing Gristle and old Nova Akropola era-Laibach. In other words, it was a late seventies and early eighties movement that has long since passed us by. You have to understand then, that keyboards don't make an industrial band. Industrial is not electronic, if anything it's mechanical. What you're calling industrial is at best industrial metal, but most certainly not pure industrial. __________________________________________________
