Description: This is probably one of the most underrated and overlooked action games in existance. The freeze-and-stab combat may be a little annoying at first, but once you get used to it, you'll see that this is an incredibly fun and challenging game that deserves to have more fans. |

Nintega ::: Favorites 2007-12-08 17:43:10 I just found out about the game at time I made the video. It was my first time playing. __________________________________________________

wesley1125 ::: Favorites 2007-09-07 04:06:22 The walker vehicle in the second stage, you can use it to jump up really high and go to a secret stage that skips you ahead. __________________________________________________
CRITTERBUSTERS ::: Favorites 2007-07-29 04:23:12 i personally didn't like burai fighter but i loved this one __________________________________________________

psylentknight ::: Favorites 2006-12-15 19:22:40 And seeing the character use the boomerang just reminded me of Power Blade, if that rings anyone's bell :) __________________________________________________
psylentknight ::: Favorites 2006-12-15 19:09:22 Oh, I was wondering for a second why it reminded me of the G.I. Joe game that came out. That was a damn good game. This I never got too far into, but I think I can play it now, just for the hell of it. __________________________________________________
Klatrymadon ::: Favorites 2006-10-04 09:05:55 Aye, I've got all of those, mate. Burai Fighter is another overlooked game - a shooter that in many ways shuns both the horizontal and the vertical orientations in favour of an accessible, multi-directional approach which allows for some nice memorization-based gameplay. __________________________________________________
Nintega ::: Favorites 2006-10-04 09:02:18 You should also check their other games Burai Fighter and G.I. Joe. They are good stuff. They also released Namco's Mappy sequel Mappy-Land in the west and the original Star Soldier from Hudson Soft. __________________________________________________
Klatrymadon ::: Favorites 2006-10-03 18:33:25 I've just hooked up the NES to play through this aeon-veiled gem again (something I haven't done for about 2 years now), and I'm glad to report that it's still in near-pristine condition! Don't see that every day on eBay! HAIL TAXAN __________________________________________________
Klatrymadon ::: Favorites 2006-10-03 18:21:55 Jesus, could I have used 'really' any more frequently there? :D __________________________________________________
Klatrymadon ::: Favorites 2006-10-03 18:20:14 Ace, this was always one of my favourite NES games. Definitely overlooked; I've never spoken to anyone who knew what it was. Oddly enough, we bought it from a really shifty guy who was knocking on doors and selling games from the boot (trunk) of his car, so if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't have played it either! It's quite odd that the stun/stab mechanic has never really been plagiarized, because it works really well and creates some really tense gameplay. The soundtrack was great, too. __________________________________________________ |
