Description: This is me handling my adult Indian Ornamental. She is one of the most aggressive and venemous tarantulas in the entire world. It is strongly reccomended not to handle this species or any of the poecilotheira "pokeys." They are very fast and unpredictable, and should only be handled if you have experience, or are just fearless and don't care about a painful bite. |

wolfman500092 ::: Favorites 2008-01-03 23:51:42 actually they are but they are not really tarantulas __________________________________________________
anzaeria ::: Favorites 2008-01-01 09:06:55 Spiders have venom rather than poison, and there is no such spider as a 'funnel web tarantula'. There are 'funnel webs' and then there are 'tarantulas'. __________________________________________________

cclapp ::: Favorites 2007-10-08 08:56:13 Male or female? IM intersted. Chris __________________________________________________
Jon3800 ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 23:24:19 Just about every tarantula is territorial with the exceptions of some arboreal Ts __________________________________________________
Jon3800 ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 23:21:51 If I were you, I would trade them. King Baboons are fast and it CAN kill your savanna, because it has strong venom. But in my opinion, I would rather get ur moneys worth an just get a nice docile T. The campestratus i have is about that price. __________________________________________________
Jon3800 ::: Favorites 2007-10-04 21:49:54 territorial. I had 2 roseys in 1 terrarium separated by a divider, one crawled in the other side and got eaten. If you want to keep communal Ts, I strongly suggest pinktoes (avicularia avicularia). They're fairly tolerant, I had 3 pinktoes together in 1 tank and no fights. I think you can keep pokes together too, provided if the cage is big enough __________________________________________________ |
